I have dined there several times over the past few years and the quality of the food has moved from good to very good to excellent. This time I was accompanied by two people who were fluent Thai speakers although not Thai by heritage. They agreed with me about the quality!

Wonderful atmosphere, great food and service a most place to eat in Lake Sumter Landing.

I love the fried whole fish. It's not in the menu book. You got to request for it. Best chef Ali. Very nice chef. Also request for Ali's special. Awesome place to go eat Thai food

Wow, what a great spot! Beautiful interior, wonderfully helpful and authentic staff. Food was delicious - had Thai spring rolls (fried) Tom Yun Shrimp soup (amazing) and Beef Panang. Perfect Thai medium as asked, with extras for leftovers. Definitely be back again... 👍🏻👍🏻

I Love Thai Ruby, I always get the Frog Legs cooked in Basil, so very very good. The servers are always very friendly, great you with a smile, wish more of our servers were like this. Great place for lunch, they give you more than enough food.

Thai food and art at a great restaurant.

Ive eaten at this establishment on many occasions and had the same dish everytime, shrimp with HOT pepper. My wife and i ordered online and when we got home with our food, my dinner was missing all pepper and spice. Tasted like basil water. When i called to explain my disatisfaction, after several minutes of trying to figure out what went wrong i got nowhere. They didnt even try to make the situation right or appologize. First time ive ever had a complaint against them, just disappointed that nothing was done.

A little pricey but it is The Villages where everything generally is. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Service was fast, approx 10 min wait from ordering to getting our food.

Vegan/vegetarian friendly! My family visited Thai Ruby for the first time yesterday and we had a lovely experience. The red curry was DELICIOUS! Best I have had in a while! The atmosphere was relaxing and intimate, plus the staff were all very friendly. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in The Villages!

If I could give this restaurant no stars I would. This was by far the worst Thai food ( if you can even call it that) I’ve ever had in my life it wasn’t even edible. I had to throw the food away and get something else. I would never go here and wouldn’t let anyone knowingly eat here either. I don’t understand how people say that it’s good. It really makes me question a lot of these reviews and how many people leaving reviews have actually eaten here.

Great food. Got order wrong but food was ok

Lovely place! The staff is friendly, courteous and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the sweet and sour tofu (pictured), my mom had the cashew chicken. The flavor of both was amazing! Fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked rice; and the food came out quickly. The lunch special came with a vegetable egg roll and soup of the day. We will be returning to Thai Ruby very soon!

Very beautiful and authentic cuisine. Lady who I think was also the manager was very nice.

The green curry was absolutely amazing and the thai hot chicken pad thai was delicious. We will definitely be back to try a few more dishes.

One of my family's favorite Thai spots. The staff is courteous and very attentive. They quickly provide drinks and take your order in a very timely manner. The food is incredibly delicious. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. 5 stars all the way.

Our very first time at this restaurant. It was later in the night near closings and the last customer. The staff was so gracious and helpful. When they brought out our dinner I was impressed. Not only the presentation, but the food was absolutely delicious. I could literally taste all the different flavors. I will definitely go back again.

Friendly Wait Staff and the Spring Rolls are excellent.

Since opening they've cut back in portions and pricing. At some restaurants this might be a bad thing but here it just means more bang for your buck. Excellent as always!

Love this food. I recommend going for lunch, the spring roll and soup are standard starters and very tasty. I didn't know this till the 3rd visit, but request the Thai sauces at your table. If you like spicy, don't be afraid to request "Thai Hot"😅.

The most amazing food. I had the thai chicken curry and it was amazing. The service was impeccable and friendly. We had the most amazing dinner here. Class all the way.

Tasty food if you ask them to make it spicy.

This is a Thai restaurant in the Villages so you will need to ask them to add spice or you'll never be able to taste your food. If you like spicy food you need to pass on this one

Excellent place for lunch or dinner came down from Rhode Island had to find a Thai restaurant headed over to Sumter and was not disappointed the menu is new and everything is freshly made I will return,!!

The atmosphere as we walked in was just what we were looking for, the service was great and the food was very good. Only the second Thai restaurant I’ve liked this far in my opinion. Portions were good enough to finish at the sitting and be full. Overall 10 for me for my shrimp and glass noodles. I asked do a plate they didn’t have on menus and the server took care of It for me as requested. Prices are excellent and the overall experience was nice. I will return when the craving strikes. Walked in off the street while looking at houses. Best Thai food I've had in years. It's my favorite restaurant in FL and I don't even live there yet. Soon - I'll be back.

My wife and I enjoy Thai food as it is something that we would not prepare at home. The food here is tasty and fresh and not overly expensive.

During the Covid-19 crisis I ordered curbside pickup from Thai Ruby. I thought the bill was on the pricey side, so we checked TR’s prices online at their website. Of the four items purchased, each item was overcharged for a total of $8.00 on top of the stated menu prices.

Good food and great service. Competitive prices. The reason of a 4 rating instead of a 5 rating is due to the fact there is no available substitute to rice with an entree. If I would like rice, my rating would be 5. This is a nice place and definately worth a visit.

Best crab rangoon, tofu dishes and pad thai

I have been looking for a good curry. All the flavors where there even the heat wa on point. I absolutely love this place. I will be back.

Disappointing! I was excited about having Thai food but this restaurant did not meet my expectations. I ordered the “amazing beef” which promised a spicy peanut sauce and vegetables. The sauce was bland, the meat was sparse and little variety in the vegetables. To top it off, the waitress never returned after serving our food, I needed water and finally had to get up and find the pitcher nearby and serve myself. Needless to say, I would not recommend.

I am still here and had to write my review while it was fresh in my mind. Even though they are busy we were treated with courtesy and urgency. They gave us the table we asked for despite being a walk in. I really like that. The food is amazing! Must try the pad thai and the roast duck!Server was quick and knowledgable. We will be back often!!Thanks!

Excellent food and service. Pricy but worth it.

We came here with our son and his gf !! Was near closing time they immediately put some tables together and we ordered 3 appetizers 2 soups and 3 entrees !! The staff was friendly they received a 30%tip !! We loved all the food except me I didn't like one of the soups but everything else was wonderful!!! I recommend this place on everything .We come back to the area we will stop there again .Nice decor also with smiling faces and friendly staff

A very adequate and delicious lunch menu. Haven't eaten dinner there but lunch was a great experience. My favorite is the curried chicken. It's very flavorful. Also quite reasonable prices!

A very cozy & warm atmosphere, pleasant service and, most importantly for me, a nice vegan menu. A few vegetarian items may contain oyster sauce, but just ask and they'll withhold on request. Ample parking within a one- or two-minute walk of the front door; but I got lucky tonight and parked across the street.

This has a fun atmosphere, the service is good. The food is not as flavorful and they don't spice their spicy dishes as much as they should. If your looking for a fun spot to hang with mild tasting Thai food, then this is your spot.
